His label, Cheap, does. It's printed on the (now apparently controversial thanks to Tresor) Robert Hood _Nighttime World_ record. Anyone have that handy? from Andrew Chuter's "closet IDM" list:

Hey, no need to be ashamed of any of these! They've all been exhaustively namechecked by many of your favorite IDM artists as influential classics...

Hmmm, I think I'd nominate "Frequency 7" (which 69 sampled for "Frequency Finale" on _4 Jazz Funk Classics_) as da shit.

..or better yet, listen to PE... Derek said:

Haven't heard this one yet, but Gigi Galaxy's stuff is always fun and goofy. He tends to repeat himself a bit, but at his best he puts out things that sound like absolutely no one else -- "Voyage To Lemuria", "Bim Bom", etc. I was never a huge tribal fan, but his stuff is always off-kilter/idiosyncratic enough to work on a couple of levels at once. -- dave walker, detroit art services _ marmoset@conch.aa.msen.com born freeke Dave Walker
