Well, i greatly prefer Haunted Dancehall though both albums have their
moments. I think the lengthy clock factory puts sabresonic down in my
ranking, it just seems to be too long and not really go anywhere.
I think the place that the sabres (NB Past tense!) really excelled in was
in the remixes. The James remix CD had the four part remix all linked to
make one continuous track over 40 minutes. That sound pretty much defined
the 'sabres sound' though they did have strange phases where their
remixes around a particular time took ideas from a particular 'movement'.
Can't wait to hear Andy and Dave (Harrow, he of Technova) new stuff, when
they get to release it.
