Try _So Tough_, their 2nd album. Elaborate and crafty pop which merges many diverse elements, post-modern pre-Beatles atmosphere, girl-groups, techno, hip hop, etc. etc. Genius! US version substitutes UK single version of "You're in a Bad Way" and alternate version of "Hobart Paving". Also adds the wonderful "Join Our Club", a UK non-LP single. Around this time Heavenly in the UK released a B-sides collection called _You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Up on Your Own_. A bit of a mixed bag but the strong tracks are well worth the effort (and cost). The follow-up, _Tiger Bay_ is a decent album but Warner screwed up the US track listing (wrecked the import's coherence and tacked on an out-of-place and should-have-been-non-album UK single, "I Was Born on Christmas Day"). Elements of dub, disco, art-deco strings. On Wed, 18 Oct 1995, Gregory Ed Sullivan wrote:
