about those indian techno lines. well, they are sped up new beat things
but isn't it how acid-house began in the 1st place (well, at least at one
of the places --> belgium)?
yesterday I've been to a concerty by a local
Indian band called 'Saragam', they are indian in origin that live in
Israel, dunno why perhaps they are jews or something. anyway, it was a real
ethnic thing, not new-age nonsense, they used real rare instrument
like the indian harmunium or the Bulbul-Terang. The audiance was mostly
the guys you would find on the real underground goa events here: 30-60
people in the woods or on some mountain with a generator and secrecy
and the occasional bust. The point is that the vibe is the same and adding
the semi-eastern jihad sample helps imagining you are in goa.
I'm not into it anyway.
