Besides X-Mix 4 (anyone know where I can get this, BTW--I
haven't been able to find this yet) there's also a mindblowing
2-CD comp called "Trance Lunar Paradise" (Sound Dimension
Recordings) mixed by D.A. This is truly a Detroit
lover's wet dream--Chez Damier, Luke Slater, Kevin Saunderson,
Patrick Pulsinger, DJ Hell, Carl Craig, Dave Clarke and LOTS
more--almost too good to be true. And, of course, Angel
himself. I'd say his tracks are the best of the lot, actually.
This is easily one of my most treasured CDs.
At present I'd say that Angel is *the* most talented
post-Detroit musician around. I haven't heard anything
approaching the intricacy and feeling he puts into his drum
programming from anyone else, really.

On Now: Piers Headley "Music For Toilets" (new on
Tresor)--don't like it very much, actually. Anyone want to
take it off my hands?
