When did I say anything against preprogramed stuff? I said I dislike hearing a sample looped over and over again and 'pre-programed sampled beats' - refering to the amount of acid-jazz(and techno) that is nothing but basic chords of other people's playing. I dont see the energy that is in jazz, in bad structure of other people's music. It's like cold fish. I'm tottaly into electronic and programed music, I do it myself.

Having your own standards is old fashioned? ok!

Sure have. Quite often, and I enjoy it too!

etc. I'm familiar with all of these, and some of it's great! But would you really call these bands 'acid-jazz' ??
