Snurk! Starting gear crazes again. MMT8s are cheap, easy to use, and easy to get. Any of a number of self-contained sequencer boxes would work just as well. I hope Mr. Allert had his tongue in his cheek! Before all you young dudes start slavering over the MMT8s keep in mind it is to MIDI music what a CD player is CD's -- it don't make the noise. And you don't need MIDI at all to play techno live. If you've got the right gear you can play a whole set with CV/Gate. -- Newt Gingrich + Richard Simmons = Annoying fat guy who wants you to bleed while you sweat. kent.williams@cadsi.com [Kent Williams/CADSI/2651 Crosspark Rd/Coralville IA 52241/(319)626-6700]
