I have been asking everyone around here if it's the same John Beltran that writes tracks similar in sound-description to these, that lives right here in Lansing, Michigan? I've met him before when he was working on stuff a long time ago, and shopping for a label.... but R&S? WHooo, pretty good catch! :) Can anyone confirm or deny this John Beltran from Lansing, MI? Wasn't there a John Beltran that had stuff on Synewave, too? Does anyone know where these John Beltrans are FROM? A kinda' funny story, if this *is* the same guy: I was having a small party in my building last summer, spinning some '87 Derrick May, and he heard the music below out on the street. So he just walked in off the street, up the stairs to the party and came in. He said: "I never thought I'd hear this tune anywhere in this town besides my own house!" or something funny like that. Really nice guy, said he had been making electronic music, ambient stuff, for quite awhile... ________________________________________________________________________ | Matt MacQueen | | multimedia/WWW production | |===================================| |==================================| | macqueen@student.msu.edu | | human interface, CD-ROM | |________________________________________________________________________| -8 -6 -4 -2 0 +2 +4 +6 +8
