I highly reccomend Betty's Lament. You'll get some good melody on the a side, which is the title track. The beat is a bossa nova variation and the melody goes through some interesting changes. The synth tones are quite beautiful. The b side is a more straight forward ambient track with warm beats that do some clever counterpoint at the end. I don't know if Bad Jazz has a web site. I found this disc in an unlabeled bin of 7"s at a record store in LA. happy hunting, Lee np - some track I'm working on that needs a good night's sleep.
