??? it was the real one from the TV show... i don't know what you're talking about.

yup, reminded me a lot of the ozric tentacles shows i've been to, actually.

well, i remember it all pretty well (although not in the correct order): little fluffy clouds a huge ever growing pulsating brain (very hard & dancy) oobe (excellent reworking) blue room (again very dancy) towers of dub/earth (gaia) assassin (really hard) valley plateau oxbow lakes montagne d'or occidental (or maybe it was white river junction, i always get those two confused)

yes i thought it was a really nice mix of hard & soft, electronic & acoustic, programmed & live.

it was "shaft"! i was pretty spooked by that as well...

i have to rave (pardon the pun) about the lights: fucking genius. probably one of the top 3 light shows i've ever witnessed. one thing i really liked was how each song had its own set of lighting effects. it made it look like there was some real thought behind it. they had 16 dataflashes (really bitchin huge strobes) that they used to incredible effect. my brain was throbbing. however, i definitely think the orb are turning into ozric tentacles... robert mentioned the prog rock feel at times and he is right on the money. not that that's a bad thing - i love the ozrics - but you just might want to take that into consideration if you're some kind of techno snob purist... definitely worth the $20. best orb show i've seen yet (out of 3). -- Name: Jon Email: jsd@cyborganic.com Web: http://www.cyborganic.com/People/jsd
