I've only just bought the compilation (yesterday) so I've only heard it once, but earlier yesterday I spent some time sampling several of the BC releases in a store, and got the general idea. I can kinda see the Teitchens comparison.

My copy of the comp has a mini-discograpy on the back. Doesn't everyone's? It looks like the first 3 tracks are not from BC01-BC09 at all. Of the remainder, I see the word "edit" next to 6 of them ... (Or should I say "tide"? (-: )

What's "MO4"?

This is definitely true. The 12"ers are 33 rpm, and go on for days in a very slow repetitive fashion (at least, the ones I spun in the store did). Very much a "play this in a club/rave to people who eat up good train-track German Trance" kinda thang. Whereas the CD seems to have been "adjusted" for home listening, feel-wise. I have this sneaky feeling that there's a reason for this; hmmn, wot's this exhortation - "buy vinyl!" - at the bottom of the mini-discog sticker???

I guess I do not understand the question? The first track on the CD that matches a name in the mini-discography is "Quadrant Dub I edit", and that's BC06. Does the track order of the actual tracks not match the presumed running order that the mirror-image labelling implies?

Thanks; I just got rejected too :-)

I was just in a store yesterday (Beat Non Stop, Hollywood California - not normally known for the best selection ever) that had 7 of the 9 BC releases. There was also another one - shrinkwrapped so I couldn't see the matrix # - which was in the BC bin, but it had a mostly red label with 2 strange characters on it (kinda like letters, but they didn't look like a "B" and a "C", let's put it that way). If this is BC, it was either BC01 or maybe BC03. So if that's the case, this shop has 8 of the 9 (Miles are you listening (-: ).

I assume you're talking about M releases and not BC releases here? - Greg
