Asmus Tietchens recorded a SUPERB ambient record a few years ago called "Seuchengebiete 2," composed entirely of water noises. The water lends some beautiful textures and Tietchens sculpts them into some amazing structures. I compare B.C. to Mu-Ziq because both employ very mechanical sounding beats to very human effect. The dub influence is quite prominent, too. Interesting music, to be sure. Listening to this while doing my grocery shopping (an extremely surreal experience) also suggested comparisons to some Zoviet France.
