I haven't seen the movie (probably will get ages to reach these
Northern shores), but in my opinion Hollywood has always had a
great skill to turn gold to shit. They ruined my favorite comic
book Tank Girl and the same thing will probably happen with the
4thcoming Judge Dredd adaptation (Sly Stallone as JD? Come on!).
Not to talk about when they get their hands to Gibson's
'Neuromancer'... Never thought that the book was a masterpiece
to start with, anyway... (All you cyberpunks and punkettes, put
your flame mode *on* now :)
