What was the general opinion of last nights Future Sound of London mix on
Pete Tong?(sorry, this is mainly going to be for the UK idm bods).
I wasn't too sure about the first couple of tracks, very mid-eighties
sounding, but it got better as they went along. They even managed to slip
'Snakehips' and 'Ameoba' from the 'Far out...' e.p. into the mix.
For anyone who's in the slightest bit interested, the sample right at the
beginning of the mix that went "This transmission coming up may well rekindle
your will to live" is taken from the classic sci-fi movie 'Silent Running'.
I only know this 'cause I knicked it myself to put in a tune ages ago!
