I'm not quite sure what you're responding to in Jon's post. He has a good
idea of what type of sound he wants, and perhaps he didn't articulate it
so well, but so what? Is he really any worse than a "real" label exec?
I live in Boston. Jon absolutely represents around here. He's released
vinyl by relatively big-name hitters such as Coil. He has nothing invested
in this other than love for the genre. And he's a nice chap to boot. If he
wanted to broaden the scope of his reach into electronic music, I would
fully endorse him.
