This may be a little out of date, but regarding the recent debate about the source of the "acid" noises on the recent Link release "Antacid". I E-mailed Link's contact at their e-mail address( this doesn't "link" up to the guys themselves by the way trainspotters!) and put to them the question "TB-303 or not TB-303?".Apparently they don't actually own a 303 so it does seem highly likely that they used a sample. They do own an Akai S3000 sampler though which can add it's own "acidic" feel with it's built in resonant filters ("acid" basically = lots of resonance). At the end of the day though, who gives a shit what makes the noises. If it sounds good (and "Antacid" is a storming track) it doesn't matter if you're using a 303 or a Casio home keyboard.Let's have less of this "techno elitism",sound is sound.Long live the electronic music revolution Steve Ash
