When it first came out, I was fortunate enough to see the vinyl surface of
a copy in the store and see those bumps. I just took RDJ cue I guess and
went to another store (2nd Ave PDX) and opened all four of their vinyl
copies and swapped the records right there in the store so that I got a
non-skipping pressing. I mean, fuck, they can't get away with that...
I reasoned that those other copies should be opened even if I've already
bought it on cd or something already so that other people scoping them out
can get a chance to see the vinyl "oh look, I can look at the records...",
.....esp since that store *doesn't* allow returns of new vinyl for reasons
of bad pressings, etc... can you believe that? <groan>
