I?ve done my best not to jump into this but...
Being an Instinct artist...
There seems to be a grudge against anything released
on Instinct. There a number of artists who don?t deserve
such an unfair judgement..
Try...
Adham Shaikh
Savvas Ysatis-Omicron SETI
Taylor 808-Human Mesh Dance-SETI-Prototype 909
Terre Thaemlitz(who Ryan G.Pals did mention)

As someone in a post said yesterday, you shouldn?t judge
a music by the label its on. Especially if you haven?t even
listened toit.
Just because something is an import does not mean that
it is better. A buyer in a NYC record shop told me that
he was ?surprised that the Ambient Systems comp was
selling so well, because it was a domestic?. He, who is
a known fan of ambient music had not even listened to it
because it was not an import.
Instinct releases one Rising High
comp a year. Why ?Space is the Place? appeared on another comp
recently, I wish I knew. I agree that the new jungle comp was
something that would easily sell well but also there are not alot
of jungle comps released in the states. Instinct also released a jungle
comp more than a year ago.
Instinct has also brought the states a number of the Time Recordings
EMIT releases. EMIT0094,Woob and a June release titled EMIT2000.
Woob is one of the few CDs that I don?t get sick of after a
dozen times
in the CD player.
Anyways, music is music, fuck the packaging, fuck the hype and fuck
the labels.
None of this was ever an artists intention.
peace.
