This topic has doubtless surfaced before on idm, but as a relative newcomer to the genre (fell in love with Orbital II last summer and have been working my way back through Warp and related catalogs as far back as LFO's Frequencies since then), I wonder whether anyone could suggest CD releases that illuminate some of the roots. I suppose that means Detroit acid, but I'm sure there are others. (Yes, I already like Kraftwerk) I seem to be allergic to divas, and so far, only AI and TEEX among comps have pleased me.
