Yes it's off topic but better than lab rats or whatever that was all about. ;) heh hehh, the art for Basic Channel's CD compilation is my fave so far, (Good luck figuring out the track titles, though, or even WHO IT IS for that matter), with Planet E's "Experiments" Petri-Dish thing taking a close second. Honorable Mention goes to Black Dog "Bytes" for low-key computer art coolness. There was a cool article in U&LC (Upper and Lower Case, a typographers magazine) about how "The Designers Republic" has made a cool artistic/graphic splash in the techno (and even pop) music community. THey have done art from everyone from Bjork to PWEI to Kenny Larkin, with tons good stuff in-between. And if anyone from the Designer's Republic is reading this, they should HIRE ME! [sorry] :) peaz. _________________________________________________________________________ Matt MacQueen -- multimedia production -- human interface, CD-ROM, Web <macqueen@student.msu.edu> -- aural nukes in the mix _________________________________________________________________________
