D.H.S. is (or was) Ben Stokes. To my knowledge he has put out two
full-lengths: The House of God (1990) and another around 1992. His style
is a lot like Greater Than One from back in the day when they still used
original ideas. 8-bit, sample-heavy songs with a sense of humor. I'm not
sure if D.H.S. is still around, since the MBM remix is the last thing i
heard from it. That's too bad, because he is a talented guy. Mixmaster
Morris used a sample from the House of God LP on his 'underground' EP. One
of my most prized possessions is a D.H.S. t-shirt that i found a Bill's one
day for ten bucks.
Trainspotter mode off.
