I think a fleshpile is a human being, that's sort of the meaning of the
name. I got it originally off of the Scorn album "Vae Solis" and started
using it as a video game handle (Duke Nukem 3D and Quake). I really liked
it, and eventually used it as my email address and ICQ handle, and it went
from there. I've never been to Philadelphia though and I'm not -quite-
overweight LOL =)
