I thought I would point out that Ester Brinkmann != Thomas Brinkmann, although they do sound similar. The original poster said he like the Ernst series of releases and the Ester 20 to 2000 was recommended. As for my fave Ernst release, it's probably Erika/Frauke. The first track on the Frauke side makes me randy. As for my least fave Ernst release, it's got to be the one with that "when you hear it, pump up the volume" sample. Errgg... Anyhow, yes, all the Ernst releases are similar. All have 2 tracks per side ending in lock grooves. At 33 1/3 this is more music than it sounds like, and are definitely worth your $8-10 USD. None are terribly dubby, very minimal FX application on all of the discs, specifically in the delay arena. later Andrew -| Andrew Schrock | aschrock@cs.brandeis.edu |- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
