Well, unfortunately there is news on the Lazarus front that the
Detroit-based/influenced techno list, the outstanding "313" list, will be
shut down unless it finds a new home. I'm secretly hoping that Hyperreal
would consider a rescue mission (?) -- like those early 80's movies where
Chuck Norris goes *back* into Vietnam to rescue the P.O.W.'s.... (ok, I
admit, a tacky metaphor) but here follows some of the current discussion.
I thought the Schindlers List comment at the end was pretty funny. :)
313 is happy cause finally the local detroit-area techno artists are
getting on-line and speaking up, it's a very well-run list.... :)
I pasted the list Admin's original message here, and then some brief

Bad news 313'ers,
Damn this sucks, but I'm losing my Internet hookup. No access
means no list (and no WWW site). Anyways, lazarus.uta.edu will
no longer exist as of next Friday.
In the mean time I'll keep trying to find 313 a new home and
keep things going. I've had a good time and learned a lot, it
would be a shame for the list to end just as the artists and
labels themselves were coming on board.
