I feel that I must disagree with you on that point. The whole album just seems to me to be a tad on the formulaic side. You know the kind of thing endless percussive noises relentlessly being layered on to each other. That said many of the tracks are pleasant enough but dissappointing after some of their previous output. Will the album version of Basscadet ever be bettered?? Some of the tracks I do quite like (Further, Teartear etc.) however often they don't last the duration on my stereo because they begin to grate. My advice would be to purchase 'Incunabula' less coherent as an album but containing much better individual tracks. Chris Hewson (cdh20@cam.ac.uk)
