Is it really necessary to figure out who's culture was responsible for bringing
us techno? The evolution of music is a constant feedback cycle. Someone lays
down a vibe be it classical, jazz or whatever and someone else hears it and
runs with it. It comes back around and the cycle starts again. To try and
decide where house music started is drawing arbitrary lines on a sphere that
started rolling long before house music came around
