Amen. Limelight in NYC is guilty of that, although they do have three
different rooms with techno, house, and alternative rock.
I must be the IDMer who enjoys Cosmic Baby. When I played "Herbst In
Berlin" for my father, he swore that it must be new music by Phillip Glass.
Sure, some of the dance tracks get montononous, but the melodic structures
of "Fantasia", "Heaven's Tears" and "Loops Of Infinity" interest much more
than Hawtin's work.
