This was my 2nd rave type concert, I went by myself. An hour and a
half drive to San Berdo to see Moby, Mixmaster Morris, Young American
Primitive, etc. I was there from 11:30 to 3am and I don't know if I
caught any of them.
There were 2 main stages, one indoors and the other out in the cold.
I wandered back and forth between them. With a little bit of alcohol
and herb in me and the strobe lights and unrelenting, punishing beat I
was put into a "trip" like state. I just love that pounding beat -
there is a real body feeling to it, almost sexual.
Uh.. I had one problem, the age of the crowd seemed to be about 14-21
and I'm like 47, maybe I should have gone to Sin-a-matic instead. I
don't know if I'll be going to anymore of these rave things but christ
I love the beat, the seamless music and no band but instead the crowd
to focus on.
