ZYX puts out more shit than a public toilet, if you ask me. : )
From what I understand, they are also a distributor and cater more to Euro tastes. As in Hi-Energy. They sometimes find a crappy Euro artist selling well and then decide to put the track out on their label subsidiary, ZYX.
And Laurent, well, he is a terrrific DJ and put out some very worthy tracks when the label was still called FNAC. But since then I think most of the stuff on that label has been boring and a bit formulaic. But I would never count him out.
