I just got the Grid's new album Evolver and I must say I
like it quite a bit. From the baby playing with a synth
on the cover to the great songs within, I've found the
whole thing a pretty positive experience.
My favorite songs at this point are Rollercoaster (their
new single I believe), Swamp Thing (with the banjo), Wake
Up, and Texas Cowboy. The album strikes me as being a
reasonably good mix of quirky elements and great synth
lines.
They also have a song on TEEX 3 I believe, but I haven't
had a chance to listen to it yet.
Is there a discography for the Grid? I'm especially
interested in learning about their earlier work since
I only started buying their stuff when Figure of Eight
and Heartbeat came out.
