I bought the AB IV ep a couple of days ago, and like it quite a lot, but it got me thinking about the relative dearth of Aphex Twin releases. Well, compared to (to pick a totally random idm artist) Richard Kirk, he's extremely slow in getting stuff out. I know all the hype about him having material enough for hundred excellnt albums or something, but what has he released to date? The first "Seleced Ambient" album was kinda nice, "Surfing on Sine Waves" was... uhm... I've forgotten completely. A bit uneven, wasn't it? "Ambient II" was, in my opinion, extremely boring. That are all the albums of his I've been able to find... His eps are much better, but so much harder to find.
