Check it out: Drexciya 4 on Underground Resistance! "Lardossen Funk" and
stuff, double pack, darn wierd electro vibe, even some wierd vocals at some
point! Strictly for nutters!
Acid Rain 3 on UR too... Music tends to be a bit straight 303/909 workout
(though there's a lot to be said for that), but the blurb on the records is
crazy, about some interplanetary battle between the Underground Resistance
forces and the programmers and how the UR forces are allied with Drexciya
and they're trying to cross the asteroid belt ("asteroid 909") to reach Earth
from Jupiter... mad!
That "Domina" thing from Carl Craig is good too>
Thanks Qris for a top review of "cosmic strings"! Glad you liked the last
track, it'll be appearing in full on the next Kinetic Illusion tape "Lost
Transmission From Cowley". Funny how you say "Helicopters Over Kempshott" has
a "rephlex drum style" cos that's what other people have said too!
