Would anyone be interested in hosting a two experimental band tour from
richmond, virginia (To Kill
a Petty Bourgeoisie & Harm Stryker) in any of the cities below between
April 30th and May 15th 2004. We're interested in college shows, art
galleries, house shows,
film events, radical events, benefits, etc. Please get in touch ASAP
with harmstryker@juno.com PLEASE forward this email to anyone you think
could help, even if they don't book shows, but maybe they know someone
who does. We can send demos, tour posters, press kit, or anything else
you may need. Thanks.
This tour is to spread our idea of 804noise, a Richmond experimental
collective based around community and mutual aid instead of scene and
posturing. Together with other artists, we've thrown events in Richmond,
Virginia such as
the 804noise Fest (804noise.org/fest03/images/) featuring 15 local
experimental artists to benefit a compilation featuring 11 local
experimental artists which is due out in January. 804noise hosts within
our means other
events year round to help touring experimental artists touch down in
Richmond who may have bypassed us in the past on their way to d.c. from
no. carolina or vice versa.
We are passing through these cities, lets us know if you're interested in
hosting or know someone else who might be...
