I heard this nice freaking tune on this Chris Gray mix entitled Apt. 3a.......Damn-o-damn, its off the track!!!!!......."Voices from Beyond", Nostalgia part 1, on some UK label. I suggest U house heads move on over to: http://www.chrisgraydeep.com/# and take a listen.....in about the 8 min--12 min. mark..... I have heard of a group called House of 909, and some of their music is indeed movin, but I think this is label.....? E-nuff with typing.....any help would be cool.....

Actually it's more of a collective of several people, they started out with the label called "House of 909" in 95-96 and released 6 EP's. Don't hestitate to buy if you're lucky enough to find them. All six are absolutely brilliant. After that they started releasing for Pagan records using the artist name "House of 909" there's a little bio page at their site: http://www.ark21.com/pagan/house_of_909/house909.htm They've also produced for labels like: Alola, 909 boys with style, expanded soul, ... look out for names like: Trevor Loveys, Affie Yusuf, Nigel Casey, 2nd Nature, Future Soul Orchestra, voices from beyond. Sorry to chime-on about this....but if that tune aint mov'n ya.....well, sorry.......I had to come back home and listen to it again! WOW!(7:45---12:00) I am sitting here listening to it looking out my window on this sunny Sunday thinking........'Churchill makes em sorta like this, where they just effect you'(or is that affect, oh well)....... Its just my ears sure, but that darn tune is so bad that it IS funny (or maybe its a combo of the weather, me and the music)...no matter, in that 10 min mark its just soulfully on-time!...dawg it. House of 909 grew from a couple of releases on an electronically-based label 909 Perversions. Then Trevor Loveys and Jamie Cox were signed up and the deep house collective was conceived. Martin Howes entered the fold and the stage was set to go onto great things. House of 909 is a collective born out of the purest roots of house music. The deep funky New York-influenced sound is a feeling that 909 holds dear. They understand what deep house really means and we hope you do too. Although they shy away from the industry limelight, they are now ready to moving on and getting the credit they deserve. The "Deep Distraction" single is the first in a long-term relationship with Pagan Records and their most accomplished to date. "The Main Event" is reminiscent of early Deep Dish with a chunky bass line and floating chords. This is proper dance music, avoiding the easy clichés but with the impact to raise the hairs on the back of the neck of any self respecting clubber or home listener. Jazz influences pervade all their work and this EP is no exception, they make musical house at it's best. "Soul Rebels" is House of 909's first full length album release. It is an astounding mix collection featuring the very best of their work to date alongside some amazing exclusives.
