PelicanNeck headguy Shlom is UK-based co-owner of the City Centre Offices label along with the Berlin-based Thaddeus Hermann (aka 1/2 of Hermann & Kleine). So yes PN did have something to do with the CCO compilation along with the rest of the CCO releases. For more information about City Centre Offices visit their new website at: http://www.city-centre-offices.de/ btw: any reviews of the new Denzel & Huhn 12" on CCO? I'm not familiar with the producer but i've loved everything on CCO so far. What is this ep like and who are the producers involved? -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

the tracks are credited to "denzel + huhn", no info beyond that. I absolutely love this 12". and I love that it gives CCO an even broader range of "sound" to their label. it's 7 tracks, so maybe it's considered a mini LP? it's beatless, sometimes crackly & hissy. sometimes organic (whatever that means.see tracks 1, 3 & 6), sometimes loopy & repetitive...ok, I'm not giving it any justice here... parts of it kinda make me think of beatless delarosa & asora meets later talk talk (sans drums & vocals). I, personally, haven't really heard anything like it, so it's hard to draw accurate comparisons (which is great). too bad CCO's newly re-vamped site doesn't feature soundclips, like the old one did. em. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Ah, cheers Lance - my mate told me the what the connection was a while back, but he was playing the CCO compilation at the same time - I'm afraid my concentration was on the music :)

Not heard it myself, I may try and pick it up next time I'm in town though. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
