i just got bancos latest cd,Iqizeh, and i'm startled by how good it is other than one extremely annoying and out of tune track(glove puppet) i am growing to like this more and more, very simple to orb in its use of samples, but quite different, more of a traditional (4/4) music, at least if im hearing right. the last track is one of the best tracks ive heard in a while thinking there should be a compilation put out sometime with just the last tracks of an album, for some of the most inspiring and innovative tracks ive ever heard have been the last ones on an album, and are usually quite different from the rest of the album(plaid "rest prood", autechres "tri repetea ++" and "chiastic slide", etc) since it takes me so long to move from absorbing one release, and then going to another, anyone out there recommend some last track wonders?? and where/what are the orb?? nothing since u of orb, right cheers brian _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. I bought it yesterday and am disappointed with it. But, then again I was disappointed with Big Men Cry and I like that LP now. The best track on the album for me is Obsidian, which is a very uplifting and beautiful track. The rest just dont seem to have that "something" present on other Banco albums. I always thought 444 from Ae's Incunabula was the best from that album...11 minutes of my soul made auditory for everyone else to hear. ---brian ------------------------ Brian W.
