Sorry for asking something that I'm sure has been dealt with. Lily of the Valley: Is it as good/nice as Ischemic Folks. I haven't heard Ischemic Folks yet... (though I definitely plan to acquire it) but I can tell you that Lily of the Valley is an very compelling release. Get it, if only for Richard Devine's track, which is simply amazing. g. -- Guillaume Grenier - gollum@videotron.ca in space there is no north in space there is no south in space there is no east in space there is no west --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

i find it more listenable. while i really enjoyed the devine tracks and the first phoenecia track on folks, i didn't find the rest too memorable. lily of the valley is kind of the opposite - most of the tracks are pretty good, with only a few spotty ones. it's a bit more melodic than folks. i personally like it more. plus there's a phoenecia track that sounds more like their old soul oddity things (imo). and the devine track is tops. cheers \derek --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

While I agree with everybody else that the Richard Divine track on Lily is by far the best on that comp, overall I prefer Ischemic Folks. It's a little edgier and dirtier. It's also got the best stuff that Push Button Objects ever did. It's good to hear him moving away from the heavily hip hop influenced stuff. A lot of the stuff on Lily of the Valley borders on easy listening for me.

the RCD track lily didn't really do it for me. I think he's done better stuff. i like his Odd Jobs remix a lot and his stuff on light of man SCH 005 way better...and his tried by 12 remix..that is amazing maybe I just need to sit with it some more and let it get a little more ripe. but I do like the lily comp. some good stuff on there. but sure, some of it is pretty mellow...but that's fine w/me ----------
