Any help w/regard to a idm-faq would be greatly appreciated. The labels
and links artists info is fairly well covered in the Hyperreal Music
Archives, I'll put a link there from the IDM page. The IDM intro message
re-write is on my "to do" list, right up there with the re-establishment
of <catoutofbag>IDM-reviews</catoutofbag> and debut of IDM98.

NO NO NO! Don't remind me of how much *I* was like the people I now
chastise for cluttering the list with discourse deserving to be kept
private! :-) For real, I will never forget the day when Terre Thaemlitz
politely told me (off list) to turn down my subject-o-meter a few
knotches. Every now and then a post comes thru todays IDM wrapped in
that same nostalgic simplicity of yesteryear...
