Surely somebody out there knows something about this band... Anoesis, and where I can get a copy of both of their releases. I'm dying to get my grubby paws on this....how you say, amazing throbbing intelligent trancey techno with a little bit of weeps, blips and dangly bits thrown in for good measure....I'm talking about their first 12", but apparently there's a double-pack available as well (don't know if it's a double ep, or a full length). Okay...this motherf*cker kicks ass! Ever since I heard Rhythmic Itch, I new this man had some serious mayhem in mind. Letsee, so far he's got: 1) Anoesis EP : **** (4 tunes) 2) Anoesis - 8 Day Music : **** (4 tunes) 3) Anoesis - Blood & Sweat in London : *** (Double EP --> 8 tunes) 4) Oxidation - Icicle Gun EP : A-side no big deal, B-side: **** All of this stuff is on the D*Fusion label. In the March '94 issue of Future Music, an unisgned group called Anoesis was featured on the cover CD. The track was called ETA 2075 and was very mellow with no drum track except for a decaying Hi-hat pattern. Anoesis are Tristan Hesford and Paul Machin and can be contacted on 0420 487784 (UK). -Ed
